My own assessment is that if future entrepreneurs want large resources like minerals, land and water then Madhya Pradesh offers a great opportunity.
The Piramal Group is investing in Madhya Pradesh for the last decade. We have one of our top globally FDA approved plants in Madhya Pradesh and we export to over a 100 countries from that plant. We have had really good employees, well trained, very good work culture and therefore we have been able to succeed in getting the world's best quality products out to all the global countries in the world.
Madhya Pradesh is very well located for agricultural production it is the largest producer of soybean in the country so a lot of industries have evolved around the soybean sector. It is also very well located in India so when you manufacture in Madhya Pradesh you can send all your goods to all corners of India quite economically.
In all of our businesses such as aluminum, cement, V-Tel and telecom, we view Madhya Pradesh as an attractive investment destination. I have no doubt that Government of Madhya Pradesh will continue to proactively ensure that the state remains a competitive investment destination.
